Haji Habibullah Pirzada
President, Principal

Mr. Habibullah Pirzada was born into a prominent Afghan Business family and after graduating from Engineering faculty, gained experience working with the family business; however his entrepreneurial spirit was strong and in 2002 he started his own construction company and over the 15 years has built ACCL International into one of the most renowned Construction and Life Support Services companies in the region. In addition, Mr. Pirzada and his brothers continue to expand the company throughout the GCC and Asia and currently have operations and assets in the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, East Africa and the United States, employing over 2000 full/part-time employees.

Haji Mahmood Pirzada
Vice President, Director of Operations - Afghanistan, Principal

Mr. Mahmood Pirzada has been an integral part of the family business over the last 20 years; his exceptional understanding of the local construction and logistics capabilities, together with his unprecedented negotiating ability within the local business community, has been the corner stone of success of both his family business and ACCL International.

Masud Pirzada 
Director UAE, Principal

Mr. Masud Pirzada has been an integral part of the family business over the last 14 years with experience of International Negotiations, Supply Chain Management, Global Sourcing, Inventory and Transport & Logistics. Masud has been Director of ACCL International in the United Arab Emirates since 2008; having returned from gaining extensive experience in Europe. 

Stephen Barclay Evely  
Chief Executive Officer 
Mr. Stephen Barclay-Evely joined ACCL International as VP Business Development with responsibility for guiding the company's development function, analyzing the marketplace and shaping the company's strategies for future growth. Stephen has extensive operational experience, gained from 16 years in the commercial sector, where he held a number of executive management positions within Strategic Consulting International, Crisis and Risk Management and Aegis Defence Services Ltd.; building business and ensuring the delivery of contracted services in post conflict areas of the globe. Stephen was promoted from Chief Operations Officers to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on 15th May 2019. with responsibility for the company's short and long term strategy of the company, with a view to overseeing the company's profits and growth. Mr. Barclay-Evely is based in the company's Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. 
Mohammad Khalid Aryan
Chief Operating Officer 
Mr. Mohammed Khalid Aryan, has been a key member of the Business Development team with over 10 years of progressive responsible experience with international clients on marketing and new Business Development, Purchasing, Tendering and Operational delivery for multiple projects throughout Afghanistan. Khalid’s knowledge and experience of Construction, Operations & Maintenance and Project Management, together with the amicable and professional relationships he has been able to build with Clients and their operational teams, has been instrumental in allowing ACCL to win numerous contract awards. Khalid was subsequently promoted for his efforts and total commitment to the company on 26th May 2019 to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Khalid is based in ACCL International's Headquarters in Kabul.
 Steven Laplante  
Country Director - USA

Mr. Steven LaPlante has joined ACCL International as Country Director, with responsibility for the USA. Mr. LaPlante is a former a senior level executive with 29 years of civilian and military leadership experience and has led agencies at the International, Federal, State, and local levels of government. Since 9-11, Mr. LaPlante managed overseas foreign assistance projects for the United States Central Command. At a peak in 2009 Mr. LaPlante led 63 major projects with a portfolio that covered the gamut of foreign assistance deliveries; consulting, advising, training, engineering, design-build construction, facilities management, supply chain, logistics support and security.

Nedim Mujkic   
O&M Manager   
Mr. Nedim Mujkic arrives at ACCL as the Senior O&M Manager after serving with FLUOR Corporation over the last 7 years. Starting as a laborer and working his way up through the organization, ultimately managing the Camp Duskin, Afghanistan site. His development of safety training, practices and standards are still used throughout the organization today. His knowledge of the trade crafts is unparalleled, and he brings an exceptional level of expertise in the field of O&M management. 
Hans E. Wright 
Senior Operations Manager   

Mr. Hans Wright joined ACCL as the Senior Operations Manager and brings with him over 30 years’ experience in both operations and program management. Mr. Wright’s previous position in program management was for the Warrior Training Alliance Program, where he served as a vital liaison between defense contracting and the coalition military forces in Afghanistan. He has held prestigious position's in both program management and operations in several Fortune 500 Companies. Mr. Wright is a native of United States and hails from the great state of Texas and holds an MBA from the University of Oklahoma and is PMP Certified. Mr. Wright is presently assigned to our Head office located in Kabul Afghanistan. 


Shaun M. Brogan  

Director of Operations - UAE   
Mr. Shaun Brogan has over 20 year’s experience on assignment for multinational companies in an executive capacity throughout EAME and Asia. In his most recent assignments he was stationed in Afghanistan from 2004, where he opened the prestigious and the country’s first 5 star establishment for Serena Hotels & Resorts, and later went on to set up and oversee the successful launching of the US$500 million dollar investment of the United Arab Emirates Telecommunication Corporation’s network in Afghanistan; Etisalat, as Director of Administration. Mr. Brogan is presently assigned to our Dubai office.
Sathya Simons 
Director of Finance   
Mr. Sathya Simons joined ACCL International as Director of Finance in April of 2016. Mr. Simons is a Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience in the Auditing, Oil & Gas and Construction industries; in both the GCC and India. Mr. Simons is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Office.
Vivek Bhagwat 
Finance Manager    
Mr. Vivek Bhagwat joins ACCL International as Finance Manager, with over 20 years of Finance experience in the Construction, Hospitality, Facility Management, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Finance & Trading industries in both the Unites Arab Emirates and in India. Mr. Bhagwat completed his MMS (Master of Management Science in Finance), M. Com. & DBM (Diploma in Business Management) from Pune University, India. Mr. Bhagwat will be based in our Dubai office.
Mohammad Rishad    
Business Development Manager 
Mr. Mohammad Rishad, joins ACCL International, with over 10 years cross functional and cross cultural experience in Proposal management, Business development, Tendering and Commercial Affairs in India and the Middle East. Mr. Rishad is currently based in our office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Sumesh Thathayil
Purchasing & Logistics Manager

Mr. Sumesh Thathayil has been with ACCL International since 2011, and is responsible for food items purchases in excess of US$50 million annually by our company, from local and international markets; as head of ACCL International Purchasing and Logistics Department. Sumesh is a Graduate of Annamalai University and is based in our Reef Tower office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

Marisa M. Medelo
Human Resources Manager 
Ms. Marisa M. Medelo has over 9 years Human Resources experience, 7 years HR Specialist and 2 years experienced in HR Administrative Assistant (Staffing) as well, in a various multinational companies in the Middles east and Asia.

Marsia is responsible for Human Resource activities/strategies within ACCL International Kabul, in addition to her skills and experiences in Human Resources, Marisa also holds a Diploma in Human Resources, OSHA Certificates and Six Sigma – White Belt Certified. Marisa is based in Kabul Afghanistan.
Kamal Leo Gomes
Catering Controller  

Mr. Kamal Leo Gomes is a qualified Food Service Management Professional, ISO 22000, ISO 9001:2008 Overview and Internal Auditor, ServSafe Proctor and Instructor with extensive of 13 years of experience in Catering and Hospitality Industries throughout Africa and Middle East, with the knowledge of US standard Food Service, TB Med 530 and Army Regulation. He has the capability and experience of entire food service operation. Mr. Gomes Joined ACCL in 2015 and is based in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Waruna Jayasinghe
Finance Officer 
Mr. Waruna Jayasinghe has 29 years of experience in the area of Finance, where he spent 11 years with Al Marai Dairy Company in Saudi Arabia in various positions, before joining ACCL International in 2012 and is now based in our office in Kabul Afghanistan. 
Jatin C. Sawant
Finance Officer 
Mr. Jatin Sawant has 19 years of experience in the area of Finance and joined ACCL in 2007 and is based in our offices in Kabul Afghanistan.
